Frequently Asked Questions

Some Basic Salon Policies

What are your salon hours?

Addicted to Nails is closed on Mondays. There are limited appointments available on Sunday. Our normal business hours are Tuesday-Friday from 10am to 7pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm.

Are appointments necessary or can I walk in?

Appointments are required, we are a micro nail boutique. We do out best to accommodate walk-ins but generally there is limited availability. We invite you to check out online scheduling system to view current available.

How far in advance should I book an appointment?

It’s fairly common that our schedule books out several weeks in advance, especially during evenings and weekends. In the event of a cancellation, we usually have a waiting list so be sure to let us know if you are interested in a certain service, date and time. Depending on the service, appointments are suggested every 2-4 weeks. It is recommended you book your next appointment before you leave or online.

What if I am running late for my appointment?

If you are going to be more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and may be subject to the cancel/no show policy. Just as your time was reserved for you, it is also reserved for the next person and we do our very best to stay on time.

What if I need to cancel my nail appointment?

Addicted to Nails has a strict and enforced late cancel/no show policy. If an appointment is late cancelled (less than 24 hours notice or no showed) without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time. If clients are on our waiting list, they miss the opportunity to receive services; and we ultimately lose time and money to cover overhead costs, continuing education, and funds to even cover our personal bills. You wouldn’t appreciate that from your employer, right? We understand that life gets busy and our online scheduling system, Vagaro sends out both a confirmation (72 hours) and reminder (36 hours) notification in advance. Please know that appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a cancellation charge of the total service scheduled.

Will you share my personal information (name, email, phone number)?

We will never share your personal information as we wouldn’t want a business to do that to us.

What methods of payment do you accept for nail services?

Cash is appreciated and cards are always accepted. (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express).

Can I bring my children to my nail appointment?

We absolutely adore children, however there are several reasons why Addicted to Nails has a no children policy. Due to the lack of space and use of chemicals it is an unsafe environment for children. Even the most well behaved child has a limited attention span, and many services are over an hour, it in unfair to both you and your child as well as other clients and service provider. If you are unable to find childcare, we kindly ask to please reschedule your appointment (no show/late cancel policy applies).

There are several ways you can reserve an appointment with us.1) You can schedule directly from our Addicted to Nails website. 2) You can download the Vagaro App on your ios or android devices and schedule or cancel reservations directly from the convenience of your phone or tablet. 3) For those who are scheduling online, you can book with us at www.vagaro.com/addictedtonails. 4) You are welcome to call/text the salon at (480)735-8996.

Your credit card number is never fully visible; and you will not be charged unless you no show/late cancel your appointment with less than 24 hour notice.

We Have The Right To Refuse Service

This isn’t one of the frequently asked questions we wanted to include. However we reserve this right. If you are disruptive, under the influence, aggressive, unfriendly, sexually inaapropriate, disrespectful or ineligible for service – these are examples of reasons we would exercise this right.

What if I have an appointment and feeling sick/hurt?

If you are scheduled for a nail appointment and feeling under the weather, please be considerate and cancel your appointment. Per Arizona State Board of Cosmetology regulation, both client and tech are unable to work/perform services on clients who are sickly. If you come to your appointment sick, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and send you home. As a nail technician, if we become ill and are unable to work we lose both time to accommodate clients and income to cover overhead/personal expenses.
